THE newly promoted and posted Area Commander to Ughelli Area Command, ACP Aliyu Shaba, has been reposted to Ekpan as the pioneer Area Commander of the newly established Uvwie Area Command in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
ACP Shaba spent nearly 3-months in Ughelli Area Command before he was reposted.
During his reign in Ughelli Area Command, Shaba bursted a drug cartel in Afiesere community and a female suspect was arrested and was paraded.
His coming to Ughelli Area Command, brought sanity and decorum as crime was reduced in Ughelli North and its environs.
Confirming the reposting of the crime burster, a source from the Ughelli Area Command said, “Yes Oga has been transferred to head Uvwie Area Command.
“We will miss him dearly but that is government job for you, you cannot determine were you will be in the next moment”. The source said.
ACP is a good man that would listen to every case brought before him and before he will order the detention of a suspect, he has find out the truth.
“Truth is his watchword, he hates crime and if you are close with him,you will understand him better. I have a case that was brought before him and after he interviewed us, he ordered for my release without anything.”
